$210.00/Hour - $30K just for diagnostic software - How do I not charge $210/hour?

I generally will be the third or fourth mechanic to put my hands on a vehicle or piece of equipment. The reason being I'm expensive. The reason I charge so much is cuz I drive so much money out to a job site between the tooling and electronics and diagnostic equipment. I thought I would go over what I use as far as diagnostic electronics go.

4 Hour Hyd. Cylinder Rebuild - A gamble but my customers love the speed!! - Mobiledieselmedic.com

The proper cylinder rebuild involves removing the beast, driving out to a cylinder rebuild shop, getting the cylinder in cue at the shop, have them rebuild it, bench test it, drive out a few weeks later, pick it up and then back to the job sight. Set up the job site again and repeat everything from day 1 in reverse. This usually takes weeks because the rebuild shop is usually so backed up. A field repair comes without all the red tape but as well there is a gamble it won't work. Finally!! Found the last burnt harness from the lightning strike

This vehicle has been slowly put back together from a lightning strike. We had four burnt modules as well as a fried engine bay fuse pack as well as a burnt wiring harness. Just located the last piece!!
